My middle grade novel, Theft of the Star Tracker, is live on Amazon! Here’s the link and a description:
When their highly technical science project is stolen, brothers Drew and Alex Richfield are thrown into an action-filled battle with bully, Brett Larson, who always seems to be just one step ahead of them.
Drew and Alex must learn to work together to stop Brett from registering their GPS Star Tracker as his own in the Annual Science Fair. At stake are the brothers’ reputations, their relationship and the Grand Prize!
The book is $3.99 or you can borrow it for free if you have Amazon Prime.
One of my short stories just won honorable mention in The Binnacle’s Ultra Short Contest. “Malpractice” comes in under 150 words but packs in symbolism, theme, plot and characterization in its depiction of a woman who ends up with a scar after a medical procedure.
Thanks to The Binnacle staff and judges. I sure look forward to receiving my copy of the Ultra Short Issue!
I was so impressed with everything the Altrusa of Rochester group has accomplished that I had to write this article about them! Check out the article here, and their Website here.
Thanks again to Debby Zeman and Jody La Rose for answering all my questions!
Congratulations to Maplewood HomeCare on their new Website and business. As an extension of The Maplewood Nursing Home, Maplewood HomeCare provides in-home care for seniors, helping them stay in their own homes for as long as possible.
I always enjoy working with The Maplewood, and this project was no exception. And I love seeing how my words get dressed up with beautiful graphics, branding and design, all done by Bob Wright Creative.
If you have a similar project, feel free to contact me for rates.
The Spring issue of The Maplewood Times is out today. I had a great time working on this issue and telling the stories of the staff, volunteers and residents at The Maplewood. Can’t wait to do it again!
